Private Jet Destinations
Since the 19th century, Nice has been one of the most sought-after tourist destinations of the Mediterranean. With its luxury lifestyle, glamour, sun-soaked climate and designer shopping it is a magical city all-year-round. Nice is also known as the capital of the Côte d’Azur and the main gateway for nearby destinations like Monaco, Cannes, and St Tropez.
Nice Cote d'Azur Airport lies 8 km southwest of Nice and is the biggest international airport of the French Riviera with a dedicated terminal for private jet charter and VIP facilities, allowing those flying by private jet to be quickly and efficiently processed and separate to commercial traffic.
Due to its proximity to Monaco and Monte Carlo, it serves as the principalities primary airport, with a helicopter service linking Nice and Monaco.

Nice is a colourful cosmopolitan destination that has attracted artists and aristocrats throughout the centuries, and when you stand upon Castle Hill and grasp the breath-taking blue waters that gave the Cote d'Azur its name, you'll know why it is still a favourite within the luxury yachting crowd and the perfect city to start exploring France’s Cote d’Azur. Among the top things you should not miss are:
Castle Hill
La Colline du Château dominates the city and divides the coastal part of Nice into two sections: the eastern part with Le Port de Nice and the western part with its Old Town. The 92 m high hill offers views from all sides and is the perfect spot to take a postcard photo of Nice.
Stroll on the Promenade des Anglais
The Promenade des Anglais has been Nice’s landmark since the first half of 19th century, a popular place for a stroll with stunning views of the sea. The paved walkway stretches for 5 kilometres and is known by locals as "La Prom". As with other French Riviera promenades, one side is lined with big hotels, luxury apartments, casinos and fabulous restaurants.
Hire a Yacht
Yachting is the ideal way to explore the French Riviera in complete privacy and luxury. On your yacht charter you should visit the lovely Old Port of Nice, at the eastern end of the Promenade des Anglais. Nice airport is also a perfect gateway for the Yacht Club of Monaco, which is just a 30min drive or 7min helicopter transfer, so you can seamlessly connect with your yacht or reach casino hotels.
Where to stay
For visitors taking an air taxi to Nice, it is not hard to find high-end accommodation. For those who want to stay in the city itself, Hotel Le Negresco offers a blend of history and luxury, overlooking the beach and the Promenade. But there are alternatives for those who want to explore idyllic off-the-beaten-track destinations on the Cote d’Azur:
Note: same-day return might be available for a minimal surcharge
